2025 Nobel Prizes
I was delighted to attend the Nobel Symposium 2025! It is a significant milestone for the MOF field, and I am excited to participate in this important event. It was fascinating to listen to the Nobel lectures in Chemistry, as well as the lectures from other Nobel fields. Congratulations again to Prof. Omar Yaghi, Prof. Susumu Kitagawa and Prof. Richard Robson on their Nobel Prizes!
The Nobel Week in Stockholm is a wonderful event and I strongly recommend you to experience it! I’m happy to get to know new people and catch up with old friends. It was also very interesting to discuss the exciting opportunities of MOF materials in the future (fundamental and applied). But certainly, my biggest thanks go to the Nobel Laureate and friend Omar Yaghi for the different invitations; especially two banquets at the best hotel in Sweden, the Grand Hotel, with luxury drinks and tasty food.
I was also lucky to get tickets for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. The concert was truly moving and made a strong impression on me. It was definitely a life-long experience and a real highlight! I also visited the Nobel Prize Museum, which had many fascinating scientific exhibitions and I learnt about many innovative traditions.
Best wishes to all MOF researchers — let’s celebrate this great moment together!
