Special Issue: 30 Years of Reticular Materials

In the past 30 years reticular materials has matured into an advanced field of research, recognized as a driving force for the development of key technologies in the field of functional materials. This special issue is organized into two key aspects: the first highlights recent trends in the fundamental principles, scientific advancements, and commercialization of reticular materials, while the second provides a fresh perspective on emerging applications of MOFs and COFs.

This special issue holds particular significance as many of its contributions are dedicated to Professor Omar Yaghi on the occasion of his 60th birthday. This collective tribute acknowledges his profound impact and pioneering contributions to reticular chemistry, which have undeniably shaped the field and inspired generations of researchers.
