Special Issue: Chemistry in Ukraine

“It is the great beauty of our science, chemistry, that advancement in it, whether in a degree great or small, instead of exhausting the subjects of research, opens the doors to further and more abundant knowledge, overflowing with beauty and utility.”

Michael Faraday

With this essence of scientific innovations and diversity, we are delighted and honoured to announce that the first edition of the special issue “Chemistry in Ukraine” has been published in “The Chemical Record” on February, 2024.

The goal of the special issue is to highlight the advances in chemical research and celebrate the passion and dedication of the scientists in Ukraine. Ukrainian chemists have made significant contributions to various cutting-edge research areas including organic and polymer chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, electrochemistry, and physical chemistry. In addition to highlighting their achievements, this special issue will promote international alliances and multi-, inter-, and trans-disciplinary teamwork, including critically important joint projects and future endeavours. The spirit of such high-level and diverse contributions will certainly expand the horizon of universal knowledge and stimulate the young-minds for future research.
